In June and July 2016 I was working for Rathcroghan Visitor Centre in County Roscommon, Ireland. It started as an internship but has since evolved into a creative collaboration and I am proud to be a part of this amazing Heritage Centre's development. While being there, I designed a new website (http://www.rathcroghan.ie/) including the Centre's very own Font, modelled on inscriptions on the Cross of Cong, a cerimonial artifact from the 12th century (using FontForge). I also produced several black-and-white drawings, watercolour patinings and T-shirt designs to Illustrate the mystical and mythical stories around the Cave of Cats (Oweynagat), the Mound of Cruachan (Ráth Cruachan) and the national epic "The Cattle Raid of Cooley" (an Táin Bó Cuailgne).
There are more artworks being planned and I am excited to help Rathcroghan Visitor Centre bring Ireland's history and legends to life!

Cu Chulainn did not flee fom his place from the beasts which attacked him. But when it stretched its neck out for eating, Cú Chulainn gave a blow out with his sword on the beast's neck. 'How will it be believed that I have gone into the síd?' asked Nera. 'Bring the fuits of summer with you' said the woman. |
Pigs of Magic came out of the gate to Cruachain, and that is Ireland's gate to hell. Then they saw a troop of women in green tunics gather about the body of Freach Mac Fidaig and bear him away to the síd. Síd Froích is the name of the hill since that time. |
On Aí Plain at Tarbga, the place of the bull-grief or bull-strike, the hill originally called Roi Dedonn - he met the bull Finnbennach, the White-Horned. Everyone who had escaped the battle stopped what he was doing, to see the two bulls fight together.
